Alderley Edge Home & Lifestyle Guide - Edition 1, featuring Oak & Stone Landscapes
Volume 01 - Alderley Edge, in planning for spring 2026

What is The Local Edition?

The Local Edition is a premium printed guide distributed to carefully selected households in desirable local areas across Cheshire and the North West. Each edition features a small number of local businesses - one per category - alongside a QR-tracked landing page that lets advertisers understand campaign response. Unlike mass-market leaflet drops, each guide is designed to be kept, not discarded.

i.

Data-informed targeting

Postcode sectors are selected using available demographic and housing data - so the aim is to help advertisers reach households more relevant to their offer, not just the most households.

ii.

Category-exclusive by design

Only one business per category features in each edition. Once a category is reserved, it will not be offered to a direct competitor in that guide.

iii.

Premium print, simply reported

Each advertiser receives a post-campaign summary covering QR scans, website clicks and enquiry submissions where collected - more visibility than traditional untracked print.

Local advertising should feel
considered, not crowded.

Most leaflet advertising competes for attention in a pile of unrelated flyers. The Local Edition is different. Each area guide is designed as a premium local publication, featuring a carefully limited number of businesses and only one advertiser per category.

i.

Category exclusivity

Only one business from each category is featured in an edition, helping advertisers stand out rather than compete on the same page.

ii.

Selected local reach

Editions are planned around specific local areas and household counts, giving businesses a clear sense of where their message is being delivered.

iii.

Print with digital tracking

Each advertiser can use a unique QR-tracked landing page, making it easier to understand response and follow up after the campaign.

How The Local Edition works

A clear, four-step path from reservation to reporting - designed to feel as considered as the guide itself.

  1. 01

    Choose your edition

Select the local area you want to appear in, starting with upcoming editions such as Alderley Edge.

  2. 02

    Reserve your category

Each edition includes only one business per category. Once your category is reserved, it is not offered to direct competitors in that edition.

  3. 03

    Approve your advert

We prepare a premium print-ready advert using your brand details, offer, contact information and QR-tracked response page.

  4. 04

    Delivered and reported

The guide is printed, delivered to selected households, and followed by a simple campaign summary showing QR scans, clicks and enquiries where available.

Local editions, built around real places.

The Local Edition is designed to scale across carefully selected towns and villages - while each guide remains specific to its area.

Frequently asked questions.

How is The Local Edition different from standard leaflet advertising?

Most leaflet campaigns deliver a single business's flyer alongside dozens of unrelated pieces. The Local Edition is a curated guide - only a small number of carefully selected businesses appear per edition, one per category. The guide is designed to feel premium enough that residents keep it rather than recycle it immediately.

Which areas does The Local Edition cover?

The first edition is planned for Alderley Edge. Future editions are planned for Wilmslow, Knutsford, Prestbury, Hale and Didsbury. Editions are added when there is sufficient interest from a viable mix of local business categories.

What does "category-exclusive" mean?

Once a business reserves a category - for example, garden design, private dentistry or kitchen fitting - that category is not offered to a direct competitor in the same edition. Your business is the only one of its kind in that guide.

How does QR tracking work?

Each advertiser can use a unique QR code linked to a dedicated landing page. After the campaign, we share a data summary covering QR scans, website clicks and phone taps where collected. This gives advertisers more visibility than traditional untracked print - though advertising response is not guaranteed.

How many households does each edition reach?

Household counts vary by area and edition. Details for specific editions are provided at the point of enquiry. We do not make vague delivery claims - counts and delivery areas are confirmed in writing before any campaign proceeds.

How do I reserve a category?

Use the enquiry form below to register interest. Tell us your business name, category and preferred area. We will confirm category availability and provide full details about the edition, timing, pricing and artwork preparation.

Reserve your place in an upcoming local edition.

If your business serves customers in areas such as Alderley Edge, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Prestbury, Hale or Didsbury, register your interest and we'll let you know which categories are available.

  • One business per category, per edition
